Lektor
Vida Zorko is lecturer in English for specific purposes (ESP). She has an MA in Educational Technology and TESOL from the University of Manchester. Her research interests include ESP methodology for students of public administration, English for academic purposes, e-learning and collaborative e-learning. She authored and co-authored many coursebooks and professional and research articles in the fields of TESOL and ESP in higher education as well as ICT use in teaching and learning. As a member of the Centre for Pedagogical Excellence she has been active in the area of development of pedagogical competences of teaching staff. She is an active member of the Slovene Association of Teachers of Languages for Specific Purposes. She was a committee member for many years and was President of the Association from 2015 to 2017. She was a member of the Editorial Board of the Scripta Manent journal and the Inter Alia publications series. She was a member of programme and organizing committees of several national and international professional and scientific conferences. She organized and delivered many seminars and workshops on the topic of education and e-learning. She took an active part in several projects of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport related to e-learning: E-education (E-šolstvo), E-school Bag (E-šolska torba), Innovative Learning and Teaching for Quality Careers of Graduates and Excellent Higher Education (INOVUP), Digital UL – with innovative use of ICT towards excellence of the University of Ljubljana (DiUL), Multipliers for the didactic use of ICT at the UL, Project e-learning at the UL, ULTRA - UL for a sustainable society: Lifelong learning and micro-credentials (Lifelong project e-learning) and Digital future: Digital transformation of the University of Ljubljana and its administrative processes (From a digital student to a digital citizen).
