izr. prof. dr.Lan Umek
Izredni profesor
Lan Umek is an assistant professor at Chair of Economics and Public Sector Management. His background is in applied mathematics, and he holds a PhD degree in statistics. At the Faculty of Public Administration, he holds lectures in various courses on data analysis. His research interests include statistics, data mining, survey research, and bibliometric analysis; he is involved in several research projects where data analysis is his main task. He has been recognised twice in a row as one of the best lecturers by the Faculty of Public Administration Student Council. He is currently the Vice-dean for scientific research at the Faculty of Public Administration.
